Sunlight and Temperature:
Shisham trees thrive in full sunlight and require a minimum of 6 hours of sunlight daily. Being native to tropical and subtropical regions, they perform best in warm temperatures and are highly sensitive to frost. If you are planting your Shisham tree in a colder region, ensure it is sheltered from the cold during the early stages of growth.

Watering:
While Shisham trees are drought-resistant once established, they should be watered moderately during their initial growth phase. Ensure that the soil is well-drained as the tree dislikes waterlogged conditions. Once the tree matures, it will require much less water, and overwatering should be avoided to prevent root rot.
